External wastegates are commonly used for fast spooling and keep back pressure to a minimum and still regulating boost levels more precisely than internal wastegates in high power applications, where high boost levels can be achieved. Uses a 8 psi spring. JDM Sequential Blow off Valve. This blow off valve uses a unique sequential valve structure and a differential pressure control system, which allows for a broad operation range from low boost to high boost.

In order avoid replacing wastegate springs, which only give a fixed increase, which is not adjustable, a boost controller will be the most cost effective solution.
