Upper Limit Performance and Engineering billet main caps are made specially for the person or machine shop looking to build a high-performance race engine and who races competitively. Either on the weekends or on a consistent basis.

Compatible with Toyota 2JZ-GTE Supra 3.0L 2997CC l6 GAS DOHC Turbocharged Engines & the non-turbo charge engines. Designed to save the performance machine shop time when they bore the mains to size; specifically, by reducing the amount of material to that needs to be removed. Main Caps are utilized when increased boost levels may lead to fractures and cracks when the crank pushes down on the caps. Factory main caps were not designed for these forces; however, our product can withstand increased levels of horsepower and torque due to the precision grade billet steel we use - SAE-AISI 8620 steel, which is the highest grade available for hardness and durability! Please note that these main caps will require a line boring after being installed.
