1971 Fleer Dragstrips Stickshift Drag Racing 9 card set Don Garlits Superbird

  

This is a rare near set of nine different, vintage, original, authentic, older Fleer bubble gum - Stickshift cards from about 1970/1971. Most cards are in nice condition. Most show some wax mark to backside. The white blank backs has faint wrapper wax residue that almost always shows up on the backside of this series.

The text is on FRONT of card, common to this series. 4 cards are the rarer hard to find Canadian tan back version. The Canadian tan back cards are near impossible to find. These 4 cards are the only ones I have seen in 40 years of collecting these series. The USA white back cards are slightly off centered see scan. = cards with the are the Canadian tan backing.

Chris' The Greek' Karamesines front engine fuel dragster (good condition/ creased). 1970 Plymouth GTX 440 4-barrrel V-8 Exc. Don Garlits Wynnscharger front engine dragster (exc/nm).

Fuel Dragster - Wheelstand / Lions Dragstrip (VG). Plymouth Superbird (Good Condition/ pin hole to the right side of card). Unsinkable Kelly Brown (exc+ condition). (NOTE - MISSING is the Plymouth Hemi'Cuda with shaker hood scoops and 426 hemi). These were issued by Fleer bubblegum, and one of the first USA drag racing bubblegum insert card sets.
