1968 Republic Tool Dan Gurney Mercury Cougar Road Rally Slot Car Track Set 140

  
REPUBLIC TOOL slot car racing track set. This has been stored for many decades, displays well and is 100% original. I tested the car with new batteries and was unable to get either of the cars to run. The yellow and red bodies are clean with nice chrome.

Three of the four tires are hard plastic. The right rear rubber tires, of the drive wheel, on both chassis are dented / compressed. The stickers were applied to the cars and they do have some wear and some are starting to peel off of the cars. The box lid and bottom are warped and the lid is torn on all four corners. I will let the over sized images do the talking.
