1972 Fleer AHRA Drag National Complete 70 card Set. Fleer produced the first 3 sets of drag racing cards. The first 63 card set "Drag Champs" was produced in 1971, the second set "Drag Nationals" in 1972 and the third set "RaceUSA" in 1973. By far the most rare of the three sets are the "Drag Nationals" set #2 which are up for sale. This second set had some flaws though.

The cards were made on cardboard stock and photos laminated on the fronts which makes it hard to get a mint set. Also the photos taken were not of the best quality and there were also centering problems and miscuts. Having said this, the set of cards for sale are in excellent condition and are of the higher end of these cards.

Most cards are closer to the EX condition than the NM but throughout there are some really nice cards. I took them out of page sleeves and put new penny sleeves with new card protectors. Please look at photo's closely for condition. Flaws include, minor staining, corner dings/rounding, surfacing, chipping on edging etc.
